Re my message on March 4th. I joined the Sqn straight after Abingdon on 14 Feb 75. I went out to Sharjah along with the cross country team. I was put with Eddie Newton, for the Tab back to camp. Just picked up on Dennis Devey's passing. A role model for me and one who remained a nemesis to beat. My first race with him was the Tweezledown 10 miler in 1963 - he came in ten minutes before me! A great runner and a great example to anyone who enjoyed the exhilaration and freedon of a jaunt across Long Valley or Trig Point Hill. RIP Dennis
